Windows 10: How to identify the dependency of Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 Redistributable 64...

I am working on a C++ application that interacts with Microsoft Access Database and need to determine whether it depends on Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 Redistributable 64.

Is Window Server 2016 compatible with Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 Redistributable?

Download Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 Redistributable from Official Microsoft Download Center

From the Supported Operating System, it didn't mention Window server 2016

Anyway, we tried to install "Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 Redistributable" in "Window Server 2016".

And tried to use the excel component to preview it in SSIS, but it didn't work.

Anyone tried this and successful? or any workaround for running ssis in window server 2016?

My platform information:

- The operation system is “Windows Server 2016 Standard”

- The SQL Server Version is “Microsoft SQL Server 2016”

- The Visual Studio Version is “Microsoft Visual Studio 2015”

Looks like you will need to rebuild the whole thing but at least you have the data still, right?

Run the Compact and Repair utility. To do so, follow these steps:

• If the database is open, close it.
• On the Tools menu, point to Database Utilities, and then click Compact and Repair Database.
• In the Database to Compact From dialog box, select the file that you want to compact, and then click Compact.
• In the Compact Database Into dialog box, enter a new file name, and then click Save.
  
  If the compact and repair does not succeed, you will receive a message stating so. This means the damage is so severe that it cannot be corrected.
