Windows 10: How to Import Photo Albums from USB Drive, AND KEEP THE ALBUM IN TACT

I have a thousands of pictures, organized into a few hundred photo albums saved to a USB flash drive. Each album is saved as a folder, with the pictures contained inside. I'd like to import everything into Windows 10, so that the albums are automatically recreated on Windows 10. Is there a way to import pictures and have Windows 10 create a new album according to the folder name that's being imported? Thanks for the help!

Opened the link, but as always, for me anyway, the step x steps they give, are not always what I can find.

If I open an album, there is no option saying more, but there are 4 vertical dots and if I hover on it, that says "more options" which I know sounds the same but not exact.

When I open it, there is no option to download album, and I will attach what I mean.

Another area I am puzzled, it says Google + photos, my icon on desktop says Google Photos, don't know if its important.

I also still have Picasa in my programs.

 

Photos imported, place in album, then vanished

i imported photos from my phone. This was fine. I copied and placed them in album. This was fine. I kept checking to see they where there. They where. THen i proceeded and imported more and set up another album. All was fine, photos were shown in the
album. Then when i came to the last photo. Both albums went blank, no photos where in them. Need advise. DO i have to upload photos for them to permanently say in windown photo app albums
