Windows 10: how to improve the performance of my laptop

hello

i have a lenovo ideapad 330-15ikb with intel i5-8250u. 1.60ghz, 8GB RAM and windows 10 home 14393 with bios version 8tcn44ww. I also have intel uhd graphics 620 of 4178 MB and vram of 128 MB. With these configurations my laptop works fine without lagging. I have installed windows 10 pro 17763 and the bios is same (8tcn44ww) as it is the latest bios version. After installing windows 10 pro the performance of my laptop was reduced and some times hanging. its taking time to sign in and even opening my computer, transferring files. Every operation, application got slowed down. So now I am looking for answers on how to improve my performance.

3. Check memory and memory usage

4. Check for low disk space and make some room

5. Restore your PC from a system restore point

6. Disable unnecessary startup programs

7. Check for and remove viruses and malware

8. Check for corrupted Windows system files

9. Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows

10. Pause OneDrive syncing

11. Reset your PC

Which is the app you wish to disable to improve performance?

I suggest you to run the System maintenance troubleshooter and check if it fixes the issue.
Follow the steps given below:

• 
  Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select
  Control Panel
  
• 
  Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on the
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on View all on the left navigation pane.
  
• 
  Click on System maintenance.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced on the System maintenance
  dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).
  
• 
  Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the
  System maintenance troubleshooter.
