How to increase Pool Capacity by adding new drive to Storage Pool?

Hello Microsoft Community. I currently have 3x16TB Parity, Thin Storage Pool created using the Microsoft Storage Spaces feature. I thought this amount of storage space would've been good for me but alas I would like to increase the storage space now. I thought it would be easy by just adding another 16TB drive to the Pool. I figured that was the perk of using Parity but when I try and add the drive it the Projected new capacity size doesn't change at all. Please let me know if there is something I am supposed to do to increase the size. I don't want to have to figure out how to restart this po

  2. Storage pool shows correct capacity, explorer does not

I have a storage pool with two 14TB disks. I recently added another 14TB disk to the pool, it shows the disk in the storage pool and the correct capacity is listed. In explorer and any other way to access the drive, it only shows the capacity of the two disks.

  3. storage pool, cannot change or delete in W10

    Hi, Kevien99C,

When you add new drives to an existing pool, it's a good idea to optimize drive usage. This will move some of your data to the newly added drive to make the best use of the pool's capacity. It'll happen by default when you add a new drive to an upgraded pool
in Windows 10—you'll see a check box for Optimize to spread existing data across all drives selected when you add the drive. However, if you cleared that check box or added drives before upgrading a pool, you'll need to manually optimize drive usage. To do
so, type Storage Spaces in the search box on the taskbar, select Storage Spaces from the list of search results, and then select Optimize drive usage.

How to increase Pool Capacity by adding new drive to Storage Pool?

    Storage Spaces + Pool Capacity

I have 2 storage spaces set up. I am a bit confused when it comes to one of them as it is not utilizing the full pool capacity after adding a disk. Does anyone know the command line commands to expand it to utilize the full pool capacity? I have tried
    to Optimize to no avail.
