    How to insert a single space between multiple paragraphs without hitting Enter the whole time


    Hi I hope someone can help. I need to format a large amount of documents and insert a single space ^p between each paragraph as follows: ABCDEFGHICurrently the documents are all single spaced and I need to insert a solid ^p after each paragraph. The current format is as follows:ABCDEFGHIAlso not sure if I have posted this in the correct forum. Please move to the correct one if you can. Thank you :

    single line spacing

    From what I understand of your issue, it sounds like you're trying to format your text to single-spaced in Microsoft Word. Based on that, I have seen this issue before. When you click back into the document you are selecting an area of your document that
    was already formatted to double-spacing. To fix this, select single-space from the Paragraph menu, then start typing without clicking back into the document. Alternative, if this is still not working, I would suggest typing with it still being double-spaced,
    then highlight all of the text with your mouse or "ctrl+a" and then selecting single spacing from the Paragraph menu.

    Try the below additional solution:

    Single-space your document

    1. Select the top of the document.

    2. Go to Design > Paragraph Spacing.

    3. Choose No Paragraph Space.

    I think this is the method you used which only applies to a part of a document.

    Single-space part of a document

    1. Select the paragraphs you want to change.

    2. Go to Home > Line and Paragraph Spacing Line and Paragraph Spacing button .

    3. Choose 1.0

    I have the Office app on my HTC HD7 Windows 7 Phone, and I don't know how to make the documents single-spaced. When I press enter to go to the next line, it skips and shows as a double-spaced. Can someone please tell me how to change it to make it single
