Windows 10: How to install a Windows 11 Hyper-V VM on a Surface Laptop Studio

HiI would like to install a second instance of Windows 11 on my Surface Laptop Studio. I have enabled Hyper_V downloaded the ISO and tried to do the install, but I get this message this is obviously not true since the host is windows 11. I am guessing this probably means that there is a setting that I have wrong. I have checked memory and disk but I feel that I am shooting in the dark and wanted to ask everyone here since I am under a little time crunch...I created the VM using quick create and I just pointed the quick create process to the windows 11 pro .isowhat am I missing??thanks Gary

Hyper-V on a 32gb/2TB brand new Surface Studio

Hello

I trying to enable Hyper-V on my new Surface studio and when I go to add features and when I go to add it, Hyper-V is not listed.

can someone tell me why? Do I need to enable something in the BIOS/UFEI?

 

No welcome screen on Hyper-V VM

Do all of the following apply?

• You are using Hyper-V
• You sign in to the VM with a PIN
• You are using Enhanced Mode to connect to the VM

If not, then tell us a bit more about how you are running the VM (using VMWare? VirtualBox?) what build of Windows you have on the Host (check with Winver) and what build of Windows you have installed as the Guest OS.

 

Unable to disable Hyper-V on Windows 11 - Surface Laptop 4

I am trying to run Memu (Android Emulator) but it says Hyper-V is detected, then it attempts to repair it and says it is disabled. After restarting Hyper-V is not disabled and the emulator shows the same error message. I have tried disabling it a lot, but it does not work. I am on a Surface Laptop 4 - AMD 8 GB Ram, Windows 11.
