How to set "Other people certificates" for S/MIME e-mail encription

MaryAlice, thank you for the potential tip.However, it is more about transport security between two partnering Exchange infrastructures. Although it is a sound secure solution - it is a big integration project which is not in our plan.Our task is much more
about S/MIME clients on our side and our partner side, using PKI certificates for S/MIME signing end encryption.

• We've successfully tested S/MIME encryption and signing with our desktop Outlook clients inside and across two organizations.
• We've successfully tested S/MIME encryption and signing between SmartPhone and Outlook clients inside our organization.
• We've successfully tested S/MIME signing between SmartPhone and Outlook clients across organizations.
• We CAN NOT successfully encrypt S/MIME messages sent from a SmartPhone to any recepient outside our organization, who is not in our organization's AD.Although a person for another organization sent me his certificate, and it appeared that I've got
  it installed to use for a later encryption - I can not locate it in on my SmartPhone. There is no "Other People Certificates" storage, like in IE. Can you please suggest where that certificate could be stored and how it could be retrieved for S/MIME encryption?

Does anyone out there know how to switch off the Windows 10 Mobile setting that makes Outlook require a hardware certificate when sending signed e-mails (S/MIME) from a phone?

Therefore on your Windows computer rather than crosse-checking Office Outlook, did you double-check with Outlook Mail for PC? I am not sure
how to add public S/MIME certificates to Exchange Online. Therefore, did you ask that question on Microsoft TechNet as well? From my experience, Microsoft expects you to use S/MIME in a company environment with EAS and a complete GAL. Obviously, S/MIME is
not intended for (us) end-users actually. Why ever.

If that worked before (I would be surprised!) please, respond here. Then, this might be a software bug which should be reported via Windows 10 Mobile » Apps » (Windows) Feedback as well.
