Windows 10: How to install Minecraft on Win11 child account

I own a copy of Minecraft, and also previously purchased one for my child as well several years ago. On our old Windows 10 PC, either I or the child could play. Now I have a new PC. I was able to install Minecraft and use it on my account.However I cannot figure out how to get the app installed on the child's account.In the store it reports it is 'Owned' but there is no button to install or play it. There does not appear to be a way to 'ask for permission' to install either. Same for the "Microsoft Launcher"In Microsoft Family in the list of "allowed apps", "Minecraft for windows 10" is there

Moving Minecraft from parent's account to child's

It may seem that you purchase Minecraft for Windows 10. Please try the method below to share the game on your child's profile.

1. Sign in to the PC using your child's account.

2. Open the Microsoft Store and sign in using your account.

3. search and install the Minecraft launcher from the Microsoft store.

4. Run the launcher then install the Minecraft edition you purchase.

5. Open Minecraft then sign in using your child's account.

If your account was already signed in to the game. Open the Xbox Console Companion app. Click the gear icon, sign out of your account then sign in to your child's account. This will switch the account on the Minecraft game

Child Account Get Greyed Out

Thanks for the suggestion, but I did the following instead.

I have another laptop, 2 weeks old, with Windows 10 Home on it.

On that one, I tried the same steps with the child account, and got the exact same results.

 

Child account

I did set up a Child account, I did fallow all the steps window ask, the account say that the child is in the family, when I tried to log, give me the message "The Profile Service service Failed The Sign-in. User Profile cannot be loaded".

Answering your questions:

• Did you make any changes to the child account prior to the issue? No, I did not make any changes.
• Since when you are facing this issue? Right from the start. I never got to login.
• Are you able to login with other child accounts on the computer? No

I suggest you to restart the computer once and check if you are able to login to the computer. I did, the same problem, I do not have any problem with my account or my wife.
