Windows 10: How to install motherboard drivers?

Guys, I just installed the win 10 system in my new diy PC. The case doesn’t have a cd reader so I can’t use the driver and utility cd that came together with my gigabyte b365m dh3h motherboard.

When I was at the last step of installing the win10 system (1909 version), I couldn’t connect to the internet, and it said Ethernet is not connected. I thought that was because I didn’t install the network adaptor driver so I downloaded the driver from gigabyte in the laptop and copied it to the pc. However, while driver file appeared as .exe file in my laptop, it appeared as .exe* file in my PC, and I couldn’t run it.

So my first question is, how can I run the .exe file on my PC? And the follow up question is, if I can’t use the cd come with the motherboard, how many items I need to install manually? Is there a way to copy all the relevant items from the cd to another device and copy to the PC?

Windows 7 wont install drivers

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage

 

I cant get drivers to install

Read my guide, goes step buy step for nvidia driver install. Though I use a different driver cause I got 8 series, same method of installation
