Windows 10: How to install Windows 11 via USB on laptop

This laptop only has one SSD slot. I bought a new bigger drive M.2, installed it and got hit with "you need to install an operating system". I looked around online for answers, downloaded the Windows 11 Media and installed it onto a USB flash drive.I plug everything in, start it up and now it says that there's no "install drivers". I tried installing some from Intel's site and all of those drivers that I found were "not compatible" with my hardware despite searching for what appeared to be the correct model. I'm at my wit's end here so I would appreciate any help! Laptop is hp laptop 15-dy2x

Installing windows off of a USB stick

Step By Step from vista:
From admin cmd prompt

1. diskpart
1a. list disk
2. select disk 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

Copy Windows Vista's DVD ROM content to the Flash Drive

xcopy d:\*.* /s/e/f e:\ (d being your vista cd and e being your usb stick)

And that's it, boot off your usb disk

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

HP Stream 11 under Windows 10 - Touchpad not recognized.

Are you making sure you are trying the correct driver for the WiFi... They list Broadcom, Intel, and/or Realtek.

Also, try to run the installer as an administrator install.

If that fails... try extracting the files and manually install the driver.
