Windows 10: How to install Windows Home from a PC with Windows Pro

My Windows suddenly became unactivatived and the trouble-shooter says this:

I have tried to reinstall with the Media Creation Tool but it always just defualts to Pro, so how do I download and install Home?


I have tried a few other things to solve this but frankly rafter having been trying to fix this for the last few days I cant remember them.


TBH it seems pretty stupid that Microsoft doesn't in this scenario just give you an option to reinstall windows pro to home, I have had windows 10 on this machince since it came out as I got the free upgrade from an earlier version of windows.


I assume that its gone nuts now because about 6 months ago I went to get the keyboardthis is a laptop repaired and I think the technician tried to reinstall windows to fix the issuewhich it didn't he had to install a new keyboard anyway, after I got it back he had put Microsoft office on it as wellprobably to just bulk up the price which I assume is part of Pro or it requires Pro? because I had never bothered to get it before hand.


I assume from this and the trouble shooter that I had Home beforehand and he installed pro for some reason and considering how expensive the legitimate windows keys are and how much he charged me, he had probably used one of those super cheap scam keys you can buy on ebay that fail after a few months.


This has been immensely frustrating, would really appreciate some help thanks.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows 7 wont install drivers

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.

 

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
