Just purchase Microsoft 365 my team meeting is not working

Hello Robert, this is Emily.

In order for me to help you, I will need a bit more information than what you have provided.

First of all, depends on how you are using Teams for meetings, it doesn't necessrily need a paid Microsoft 365 subscription. If you are using a personal Microsoft account and you are having meeting with other personal account users, the meeting is free. If you end up paying for Microsoft 365 personal or family, it comes with the benefits of longer meeting duration and more partiticpants. And whether you are paying or not, you will need to make sure you are using the Teams for Home edition, which can be downloaded here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-teams/downl...

If you are using a personal Microsoft account but would like to join meeting hosted by business users, paying for a Microsoft 365 personal/family won't help in this scenario at all. You have three options to join business hosted meeting in this case:

1) Join via browser private mode. Don't launch the Teams app. This will allow you to join without signing in. All you need is to enter your desired display name.

2) Join as an external guest user so you can use the app. To use this method, any business you work with, they must add you as a guest user in their Azure Active Directory first. This is the document they can use for instruction. 3) You can sign up for Teams Essential license. Then you don't need to rely on business host to add you as guest user. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams...
