Windows 10: How to just recover the system from USB recovery drive?

I am trying to recover my factory windows installation but without modifying current partitions because I have Linux installed and I want to keep it.It appears that the recovery option from WindowsRE will swipe the entire disk factory reset, but that's not what I want.I've been lurking about DISM command and it seems feasible to do but I can't locate the Windows image in my recovery drive, there are a few WIM files and I can't figure out which one contains the system or if more than one of them do.If there's another way to do this, it's Ok too.Any help will be appreciated, best regards.

Hello,

I want to recover Win 10 from a recovery drive.

I followed these steps:

1. booted the system from my recovery USB flash drive (which I of course created with the "include system image files" box checked)

2. chose my keyboard language

3. clicked on "troubleshoot"

4. selected "recover from a drive"

However at this point a message appears that says that an error occured.

I tried to use different USB slots, but the problem is still the same.

Pleas help me!
