Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-8665U CPU @1.90 GHz 2.11 GHz

Display adapter: Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620

Laptop monitor is 1920x1080.

I have two external monitors connected to my laptop via a USB 3.0 Dual Monitor KVM Switch. One of the monitors supports 2560 x 1440 resolution. The second monitor supports 1920x1080.

When the laptop is open with both monitors connected with the display option "Extend", they work properly. My main monitor displays as the highest (2560x1440) resolution. However, when I close my laptop, the monitor switches to 1920x1080. The option for 2560x1440 disappears from display setting via Windows and cannot be change via the Intel Command Center. This occurs regardless of which external monitor is set as the main monitor.

If I change the display setting to "Second Monitor only," then my main monitor will show up as the correct resolution, but I am unable to use the third monitor.

How do I use the full resolution of my monitor with my laptop closed (while also able to have my second monitor connected)?

Let me see if I understand, when you close the laptop lid, Monitor 1 remains as the main one with 1920x1080 Resolution and the second monitor maintains the same resolution or does it decrease?
