My machine is a Windows 10 Pro 22H2 machine.Private profile with Network Discovery and File and Printer sharing turned on or Public Profile with the same on.Windows has 2 profiles for networks.The first is the Private profile. I believe that it is used while at home and you need to share files between 2 or more computers. I believe it uses the SMB protocol to share files between the local computers.The second profile is the Public profile and if my understanding is correct, you would use this if you had a laptop and were out in a library or coffee shop.My confusion comes in for this reason bel

SMB shares - making folders invisible

Hello,

I've just setup an SMB server (Windows 10). Everything works fine, but I would like to make some folders invisible, i.e., I want to open them from another computer without other users in the local network knowing that they are available. Is there a way to
do it?

By the way, someone might think that I want to make them invisible because they're not protected. That's not the case. They're protected with a password, and making them invisible is just for keeping gossips away.

EDIT: When I wrote folders, I meant resources (the 'folders' which appear right after clicking on the server). Sorry for this misunderstanding!

Looking for IIS real time TCP viewer, Logger

Can anyone suggest a free real time TCP viewer-logger?

Currently I have TCP view from microsoft. It would be nice if it was sort of the same thing with the IIS log files, mail, and ftp ports, etc. along with some parsing.
