Windows 10: how to know if password & financial acct access info has been compromised.

How do I know if password and financial acct access has been compromised? 24 hours ago a windows defender pop up warning/notice occurred and my access to my laptop was disabled i.e. other than to shut it down. The notice prompted me to call 1844 306 9605. This occurred right after accessing a CNN news sponsored link. On calling I was told my computer had been hacked, that it would be fixed on his end, but would take up to 48 hrs and not to do anything with the computer in that time. During conversation I was somewhat distrustful, and while the person smoothly and tangentiality showed

Blizzard Servers Hacked, User Data Compromised

Online gaming giant Blizzard Entertainment reported unauthorized access to its servers. The security breach was detected earlier this week, and the company claims that the hackers may have accessed user data such as e-mail addresses of Battle.net users, their personal security questions, and information related to mobile and dial-in authentications.

Blizzard claims that the information compromised is not enough for anyone to gain access to the Battle.net accounts, and that there was no evidence to suggest that more vital bits of user data, such as real names, credit card information, or billing addresses were accessed. Users' Battle.net passwords, which are cryptographically-scrambled, may have been accessed. Since SRP (secure remote protocol) is used to protect the passwords, it is extremely difficult to unscramble them. Blizzard strongly recommends users to change their passwords as investigations into the security breach are on.

2 computers same acct...please help

Hi, I have 2 computers in my home. Both computers have the the user name and password when logging in. Also when I go to my Microsoft acct. both are listed under devices. I would like to have it so both devices have there own log in. If I delete the other computer listed in my acct. would this solve the problem? Also, would I be able to log into the other computer since it was deleted and how would I then create a new username and password? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
