    Hi,I would like to get help on how to figure which file to download and install for .NET updates:1. Windows Update states that this has to be updated size 63MB:KB5017915 63MB 2022-09 .NET 6.0.9 Security Update for x64 Client KB50179152. The KB on Microsoft Update Catalog Website shows for a total of 1'368.3MB: 2022-09 .NET 6.0.9 Security Update for x64 Client KB5017915.NET 6.0Security Updates9/13/2022n/a1368.3 MB3. The update itself has these files in the download:2022-09 .NET 6.0.9 Security Update for x64 Client KB5017915dotnet-sdk-6.0.109-win-x86_8f80438950d7d92f1c80dcb5fbd03e39f

  2. NET Framework 3.5 problems installing


    Try these one at a time, then see if .NET installs. If one helps, you don't have to do the rest.

    1. Run the built-in Windows Update Troubleshooter in Control panel
      Press advanced, run as administrator

    2. Run the Windows Update diagnostic tool
      http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...nostic.diagcab

    3. Reset Windows Update

    4. Manual repair Windows Update and compnonent services
      1. Stop the Windows Update service
        Open Services
        sort by the names column (reverse order - might take two clicks on the column heading)
        Right click Windows Update service, select Stop
      2. Clean up the temp Windows Update files in the SoftwareDistribution folder
        Navigate to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore
        Delete all files and folders in the DataStore folder
        Note: Windows Update history also gets reset. To see Windows Updates, look in Installed Updates.

        Navigate to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download
        Delete all files in the Download folder
      3. Start the Windows Update service
        Open Services
        sort by the names column (reverse order - might take two clicks on the column heading)
        Right click Windows Update service, select Start
      4. DISM - Repair Windows 10 Image
        Option One: To Run "DISM /Cleanup-Image" Tool in Command Prompt
        Step 6. To Use DISM /RestoreHealth /Source:wim Command
        OR
        Step 7. To Use DISM /RestoreHealth /Source:esd Command

  3. .NET Framework 1.0 updates install every day

    I suggest you to follow the methods below:

    Method 1 I suggest you to run Windows Update Troubleshooter.

    Follow the below steps:

    Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Select View all on the top left corner.
    • Click on windows update.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

    Method 2 I also suggest you to uncheck the
    .NET Framework 1.0 and restart the computer and check if issue persists,

    Please follow the steps below:


    • Right click on start menu and click on programs and features.

    • Click Turn windows features on or off.

    • Uncheck .NET Framework 1.0 and .NET Framework services.

    • Click on ok.
    Once, you have unchecked these, Please restart your computer and recheck
    the .NET Framework 1.0 and .NET Framework services andcheck.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps to check whether the .NET Framework 3.5 has been installed or not.

    • Press Windows+X and then select programs and features.
    • On the left hand side click on the option “turn windows features on or off”.
    • Check whether the “.NET Framework 3.5” has been checked or not.
    • If not check then I suggest you to check it and then install it.
