Windows 10: How to leave Family Safety if the parent account has been stolen?

Hi,My account is a child account by error. I found out only now because do not used it every often. I want to change my date of birth, by I could not you it without parent account. Turned out it has been stolen, so I am not able to change my birth, or do anything really. I went to Microsoft support, but they do not have the authority to do anything. How can I get out of the Family safety and keep this profile is I do not have access to the parent account and it has been stolen?Thank you for your supportKateřina

How to disable Windows Phone 8.1 Family safety?

You will need to have your account removed from your parent's Family Safety account. Have you parent try the following:

• 
  On any PC, go to the Family Safety website and sign in with the Microsoft account of the parent who set up Family Safety.
  
• 
  Tap or click the primary parent.
  
• 
  Tap or click Remove family member, and then tap or click Remove and leave Family Safety.

Can you confirm if you are out of the Family Safety feature on your parent's account on this
link? If you've confirmed that you're no longer on the list of monitored child accounts, we suggest deleting the Family Safety folder. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows key + E on your keyboard.
• On the address bar, type this address C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Parental Controls and press
  Enter.
• Delete all contents of the Parental Controls folder.
• Restart and see if the issue is resolved.

Leave microsoft family account without a parent in the family organizer

I understood that and explained that it must be the organizing parent to make these changes. It doesn't matter whether they left the family or not. If you are left with family restrictions then that's the only way to get out of them.

There is nothing that can be done by Microsoft, Family Safety is controlled by the organizing parent no matter where they are now. I gave you everything else that can be done, as detailed as you could possibly find anywhere else on the web: how to remove child, how to turn off Family Safety, and even how to uninstall it.

You should not be able to be left alone in the Family. It must be a bug. The organizing parent needs to try to add themselves again in order to remove your account. If this cannot be done then I showed you how to change your MS Account to a Local Account. You may also need to sign out of Edge with your MS account Profile in Edge Settings> Your Profiles. This may be all you can do if you cannot get your account removed from Family Safety, because the organizing parent somehow left without removing you first, and they cannot add themselves back to remove you correctly.

Family safety is buggy, I've been trying to help people with this since it came out, but there is only so much that can be done as they cannot any longer be contacted. I would use another parental controls app you pay for to get premium support and features that work.

Keep me posted on your progress as I will be here to help until the case is resolved. But there is only so much I can do. I've already given you everything you could possibly need to guide your parent to removing you, turning off Family Safety or uninstalling it. This is more than anyone else on the web would have given. For any more you'd need a parental controls app that includes premium Support and those are only the ones you pay for, and don't include Family Safety.

Please show this to the organizing parent.
