Windows 10: How to limit or disable standby ram

Discus and support How to limit or disable standby ram in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; Recently some apps are crashing chrome, vscode, docker, android studio, etc..., my SO is windows 11 procheckign the task manager i found that standby...     How to limit or disable standby ram


    Recently some apps are crashing chrome, vscode, docker, android studio, etc..., my SO is windows 11 procheckign the task manager i found that standby memory eats about half of my ram and the error "out of memory" appears on chrome and similar messages for other appsis really annoying keep opening the rammap app to clear the standby memory every 10mins, is absurd!!!!

    How to disable or set limit to windows 10 standby RAM?

    Hello Guys,

    Does someone knows how can be disabled standby RAM or set limit for maximum standby RAM size?

    I don't need dumb solutions for cleaning standby RAM because it immediately starts to increase again until occupy all free RAM

    How to disable or set limit to windows 10 standby RAM?

    Hi Igor

    If Windows has worked as you say I would not ask my question right?

    So this is my real problem. I have a lot of free RAM that instead to be used it is filled with garbage, while in same time Windows write to swap file and I get no RAM issues.

    Windows doesn't release as standby RAM as well swap file.

    Any idea how to disable of limit standby RAM size?
