Hi everyone,Title pretty much explains it all. I have two monitors, and I am wondering if there is a setting or parameter that will allow me to make certain applications only open on my second monitor. I feel like there is an easy way to do this that I am just completely missing. I have seen methods of getting applications to do this, however the issue is when I shut down my computer and log back in, it goes back to opening on my main monitor. I would like to be able to make these applications continue to open on my second monitor even after shutting down.Is there a way to do this? Or am I not

    :)

How to always allow administrator permissions for a specific application

    Hi Lyon,

Windows 10 gives users the ability to customize how they run applications. We suggest that you follow the steps below on how to grant administrator permission to a specific application:

    • Click the Windows icon on your Windows 10 screen that will open the list of applications. Right click on the specific application that you wish to have an admin permission, click the
More and click Open file location.
    • A new window will open to the location of the program. Right-click on the program and click
      Properties from the pop-up menu.
    • In the Properties window, click the Shortcut tab and then click
      Advanced.
    • In the Advanced Properties window, check the box next to
      Run as administrator
      and click OK.
    • The program will now open in administrator mode when you click the shortcut from the Start menu. Repeat the steps above for other desired applications.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Open a Program on any Monitor where I open at?

    Hi,

Regardless of how many monitors are set up on a computer, one main display is allowed. For your security, we cannot offer any third-party applications that are not approved by Microsoft.

Alternatively, you can follow the steps below on how can an application open in a specific monitor:

    • Open an application, then drag it to the monitor you want it to open.
    • Restore down the application (window mode). To do so, press the Windows
key + the Arrow down key on your keyboard.
    • Close the application by clicking the X mark icon.
    • Relaunch the application to confirm.

Note that this workaround may or may not work for all applications.

Feel free to post back if you need further assistance.

Set specific programs to open on the 2nd Monitor

    Hi,

As of yet, there is no specific option that allows you to set certain programs to open on a specified display monitor. Programs open on whichever display monitor is chosen as the main monitor.

For advanced troubleshooting, we suggest that you post your query in our
