  1. How to log into Microsoft on new computer

Hello, I am trying to log into my Microsoft account on my new laptop however it doesn't recognise my work email address. I know I can press start, settings, accounts and sign in that way, however where is the start button? I can't bypass the screen which requires me logging into Microsoft as I am still in the very early setting up stage of the new laptop. It won't let me bypass it or go back. How do I interrupt it and find the start button so I can access settings and accounts?***Moved from Microsoft 365 and Office / Subscription, account, billing / For business / Exchange Online management***

    :)

  2. Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
    Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

  3. 2 computers same acct...please help

Hi, I have 2 computers in my home. Both computers have the the user name and password when logging in. Also when I go to my Microsoft acct. both are listed under devices. I would like to have it so both devices have there own log in. If I delete the other computer listed in my acct. would this solve the problem? Also, would I be able to log into the other computer since it was deleted and how would I then create a new username and password? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!!

Change administrator and log in of Windows 10 computer

I realise that similar questions have been asked before but I have been a little uncertain of following advice in other threads.

We have a single Windows10 computer that belongs to our not-for-profit organisation. It is used principally by the treasurer and contains some software that we use regularly but will be impossible to reinstall.

At present the sole log in to the computer is by way of the previous treasurer's Microsoft account using a pin.

He has since (understandably) changed his password but the pin log in still works.

It would be better if the log in was changed to the Microsoft account of the new treasurer (and the account of the old treasurer deleted).I therefore have three questions:

    1. If we create a new Microsoft account (for the new treasurer) and create a new administrator user associated with that account, will that new user have access to all software and data presently on the computer?;
    2. What steps do we take to create the new administration user (with a new Microsoft account)?; and
    3. What steps do we take to remove the old administration user from the account without losing access to existing software or data?
I hope this is set out sufficiently clearly.

    Paul

P.S. If necessary we do have access to the previous treasurer to utilise his (new) password at any point it may be required.
