Windows 10: How to make 10G eth primary?

I bought a 10G eth card that does not support WOL, I sometimes need to access my pc and need to wake it up so I have connected my onboard 1G eth up and changed the metric values so the 10G has a value of 2 and the 1G has a value of 10 but I am still seeing it being used when I log into things. Is there a way to block all outgoing traffic on the card but allow incoming?

I want my 10G eth to be the primary with everything.

As per description, when you click to change the primary on nothing happens.

Have you tried to perform the troubleshooting steps provided under section
Change which alias is primary ?

If you have not performed the troubleshooting steps I would suggest you perform steps under
Change which alias is primary , from my previous post. Which are as follow.

  If you're still getting the error, check to see if you have the
  latest version of Silverlight.

Flickering screeen after Oracle Developer (Form-5) and 10G Client on Windows 10

Windows 10 Login Screen not respecting primary display. Identity Issues?

  Press Windows +X.
  
• 
  Select Control panel.
  
• 
  Click on Display.
  
• 
  Select Change display settings at top left corner.
  
• 
  Click on Identify then you will be able to check the primary display.
