    How to make desktop visable in file explorer

    Seems that my windows 11 Pro 22H2 build 22621.3007 is doing everythign it cat to make it difficult or impossible to find the desktop using file explorer, from any browser, or the open file dialog from any app. Call me crazy, and old, but I've been driving windows boxes since 3.1, and always remember desktop being right there.The steps given here don't work at all:https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/how-to-get-to-the-desktop-documents-and-pictures-folders-in-file-explorer-3370f06b-0f8d-4b25-be9a-3ee54f381e3d#articleFooterSupportBridge=communityBridge

  2. It is visable in windows 7 file explorer, but not visable in windows 10 file explorer.

    <Original title: Windows explorer>

    Hi

    I have a network drive plugged into my router. It is visable in windows 7 file explorer, but not visable in windows 10 file explorer. What do I have to do to get to my files when using windows 10? With windows 7, I plugged it in and it was visable and I
    did not have to do anything.

  3. The desktop background feature is not visable on the personalization page. I want to create a theme with and slideshow of pictures. Can someone list the steps?

    How to make desktop visable in file explorer

    Cannot find Desktop Icon in File Explorer

    Now that is interesting. If I do what you suggest, File Explorer Address bar changes to C:\Users\username\documents and the missing ICONS are there. But there is still not a "Desktop" folder.

    Is this a step in the right direction?
