Windows 10: How to make icon of task manager in system tray to display percent of ram instead of cpu

Hi guys, is there a way to make the task manager display the memory usage in the system tray instead of or together with the cpu usage when the task manager is minimized in the system tray. I don't want to use a third party software. I really like that simple
green icon showing me the usage. Maybe some registry hack or some workarounds? Ideally, if I had an option of displaying whatever I want there would be great. By whatever I mean disk, cpu, memory, and network. Replacing the cpu usage with just the memory usage
would be the second option. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

 

System Tray Icons Don't Stay in Tray and Instead Keep Moving Up Into "Off Icons"

I tried this suggestion to keep the tray icons I want in my tray THERE

instead of moving up into the icons box at the system tray arrow.

I tried these instructions listed on this site in answer to the same question:

1. click Start.

2. Type Customize icons.

3. click Customize icons on the task bar.

4. Click Turn system icons on or off.

5. Set the icons that you want to On.

6. Click ok.

That works, but not for long.

Then the problem repeats.

I'd like a solution that keeps the icons I select IN THE TRAY till I change them,

even if I power on or off.

The solution seems like it should be simple, but it's not.

To save you time helping me:

I've researched the other threads, and I will not change the Registry,

or create a new account, or do another
System File Checker (SFC),

or try the solutions listed in those other threads that did not result in a solution,

so please do not propose those.

Do you have an idea that might work? Would love to hear.

Task Manager System Tray Icon in Windows 10

Hi Lamak, my name is Neil, I'm an independent adviser for Microsoft and a Windows user like you.

Have you tried pinning the Task Manager to your taskbar?

Open task manager and then right click on the icon on your taskbar and choose pin to taskbar.

This will ensure that task manager is always there and just a single click away to open.

I will try and find out about loading it in your system tray if it is still possible.
