Windows 10: how to make sure games and program save data doesnt auto store in my documents ?

I like having my documents purely for my banking/work/important things.

And whenever i install a new game or program that needs to create a save folder etc... it is always automatically set to my documents... i've tried looking for these in the game/program settings but there is no option to change this point.

IVe tried just moving the folder to where id prefer it to be... but the game/program just ends up making a new one back in my documents.

Any tips on how i can change this for everygame and program i install... ?

Save images/documents to my computer WITHOUT OneDrive being in the link

We suggest that you change the Auto Save location to This PC only in OneDrive settings. To do so, follow these steps:



If the OneDrive available in the taskbar, follow these steps:

• On the right-hand corner at the bottom part beside time and date, click the up arrow to get the OneDrive icon and then right-click on it and then select
  Settings. Like the image shown below:
• Go to the Auto Save tab, Change the Documents
  and Pictures location to This PC only and then make sure there no tick for
  Photos and videos and also for Screenshots. Like what’s shown below:
  
• Click OK to apply the changes.
• Go back to step 1, go to the Account tab and click the
  Unlink OneDrive.
• Follow the step 1 once again and select Exit.

If the OneDrive is no longer available in the taskbar, follow these steps:

• Click the Start menu and type in OneDrive and then select the first result.
• Sign in with your Microsoft account associated with your OneDrive and then follow the instructions to complete the login.

  Settings. Like the image shown below:
• Go to the Auto Save tab, Change the Documents

Word document not auto saved

I wrote a word document and never titled it or even saved it originally. i work and come back to my work and know that autosave exists so i didn't worry about it. My computer got closed accidentally. 2 days later i opened word and found my document under
Document 1 as is common for unsaved documents. When it opened There was only one paragraph. I spent hours on this and i have auto save set to every ten minutes, how is it possible that it only auto saved a paragraph i completed in ten minutes and lost hours
of work. Why even both using word if i can't trust auto save whatsoever. I saved the unsaved document it managed to recover thinking that it was better than nothing. Can i still find the file that i was last on? i worked on it on the 13th of January and after
i finished working the computer was left open for at least 2 hours so there was plenty of time to auto save. I opened it again on the 15th. Please help this essay is worth 15% of my grade. I do not back up with office or any of that stuff.
