Windows 10: How to make the backup of sent items via webmail?

Hello guys,I have a question of the sent email backup. I will send and receive mails via webmail outlook.office.com at home, When I am in the office, I will send and receive mails via outlook. So, I will not have the mails that sent out via webmail outlook.office.com in my outlook Sent items folder. Please advise me how can I get the backup for Sent items folder via webmail. Then I can open the folder via my outlook.Thanks in advance.LK :

Thanks for the sharing. In webmail, both 'Sent Items' and 'Deleted Items' folders created by Mail app appear. But the issue remains that my mails sent via Mail app and Webmail (& Phone) appear in different folders and it is not as user friendly.

Hmm, I just had a look at my Windows Login Outlook account and 'Sent Items' actually shows up as 'Sent' under More

and deleted items are shown as 'Trash'. So the capability is there.

The more interesting part (for me then) is that though it partly resembles the Outlook.com/Live.com/Hotmail.com webmail it says 'Trash' in the Mail app but 'Deleted' in the Webmail. So even the Webmail is showing an alias for the actual folder.

Different apps, different structures.

Does 'Sent Items' show up as well in your Webmail?

My Webmail also shows 'Sent' and 'Trash' but not 'Sent Items' and not 'Deleted' nor do 'Sent' and 'Trash' show up in Mail.

'Sent' on my mail server has only a few messages which I suspect are from my short spend with Win8 and it's Mail app.

On Win8 I used IMAP and I think that 'Sent' may be part of that protocol. I don't remember to have ever used Webmail to sent email so they must be due to Win8 Mail.

On 10 I'm back to POP. I haven't yet tried to sync my 'Sent Items' folder. I'm a little hesitant to try and do that.

On the other hand when I rightclick it it offers to stop syncing, so: huh?

As to 'Trash'/'Deleted Items', messages I delete in Mail will go to Deleted Items and once 'Deleted Items' is synced they also disappear from the server. So I suspect that they are just a temporary place holder rather than a real folder. Depending on what
app you use they function as a filter of what you will see in your inbox.

Edit: I accidentally pushed sync once while I was still on the Sent Items folder but that did not copy them back onto the server, nor did the ones on the server pop up in Sent Items.
