  1. How to make the US-International Keyboard layout the default?

I use both the "US QWERTY" and the "United Statates-International QWERTY" keyboard layouts. As they are both under the same language option (English (United States)), I don't see a way to make the international layout the default. Whenever I select the international layout from the system tray , after some time it switches back to the regular US-layout.

Is there a way to make it the default without having to uninstall the regular US-layout?

Keyboard layout switches to non-default layout/language after resume from sleep

    Hi,

You can try these steps on changing your keyboard layout:

    • On the
      Start
      menu, click
      Settings

    • Select
      Time & language

    • Click
      Region & language

    • Select
      Add a language

    • Under
Languages, click the language you want as a default and click
      Set as default.

NOTE: In changing your keyboard layout, you can also try changing your computer's primary language.
Your keyboard layout may also change in doing so. However, make sure to use the right keyboard layout for
entering your password. You might not be able to sign in since the layout has been change.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards.

How to make the US-International Keyboard layout the default?

Unable to remove a 'default' language/keyboard layout

    Dear dalchina,
thank you for the reply, but I am probably missing something.
As you can see from the attached picture, language settings DOES NOT list the keyboard layout I want to remove (ENG INTL). So, how can I remove a layout that is not listed in the Language settings?
