Windows 10: How to Make Windows 10 Display Wireless Connections' Details?

I've noticed that in Windows 10, under the Wireless Connection List, when you place the mouse cursor on a (any) wireless connection listed, it does not display the connection's details.


In Windows 7 it automatically displays the details of any wireless connection detected and listed when you hover the mouse cursor to a wireless connection, including its Name, Signal Strength, Security Type, Radio Type, SSID.


Does anyone know how to make Windows 10 do the same? Many thanks.

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated display adapter drivers after upgrading to Windows 10. Try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Uninstall the Wireless Display Driver.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right on the Display Adapter and click on
  Uninstall.
• Restart the computer.

Step 2: Update
Wireless Display Driver.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software.

Not able to connect wireless display
