Windows 10: How to manage MS Authenticator app on iphone for password access.

Hi community,How can I change the MS authenticator settings to either stop it from prompting or showing an old password when go to log into my banking app on iphone?ContextWhen I go to log into a banking app on my iphone I keep getting a authenticator prompt for the password. The problem is this password is out of date. I then need to click on the key symbol to choose another saved password to use. I don't get the MS authenticator prompts for any of my other accounts, I just use my finger print to login, which is what i prefer.I am using the latest windows 11 home, and iphone

How to create a new app password

To create a new app password for an app or device, take the following steps. You can repeat these steps to create an app password for as many apps or devices as you need.

1. Go to the Security basics page and sign in to your Microsoft account.
2. Select More security options.
3. Under App passwords, select Create a new app password. A new app password is generated and appears on your screen.
4. Enter this app password where you would enter your normal Microsoft account password in the application.

Note: Once you have created and entered an app password for a given app or device, you usually won't need to do it again.
