    How to manually trigger Win10 update from v2004 to v20H2 and NOT v21H1


    As you know outdated Win10 version are enforced to update to always the newest Win10 version. In case of current v2004 to v21H1 Is there a way to tell Win10 to update only one step/version forward to v20H2?

    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

    No I haven't tried manually downloading and installing the MSU file for the update.
    What does installing from Microsoft update catalog bypass?
    Secondly, I have the KB5001567 (the optional update ready to install).
    Are you suggesting installing the MSU file first?
    I'm not sure what KB5001567 is going to do.

    What would you suggest the best avenue to resolve this?
