Windows 10: how to mass change path of files

Hey, recently I've had problems with booting my PC and after many troubleshooting attempts I managed to "fix" the issue, what I did was backup my partition with an image file, format, reinstall windows and then using my backup to restore the pc to how it was previously. However, now I have a problem, for some reason my boot drive is now assigned letter F and not C, and I have many files that still go to folders on the no longer existing C drive even though those exact folders exist in the same location just on F drive. what exactly do you need to decipher about that path line? also, what are you installing? perhaps i can help.

Yeah, I think you're right. I think the purpose of the echo command was to check if ~/bin was in the $PATH file. My problem is that I can't decipher the output and I don't know how to add ~/bin to the $PATH file.

Just for clarification, the snippet of instructions I gave is just a few steps in the installation process. Nothing is actually supposed to be installed with those steps.

If you want to open File Explorer to your C: drive without any registry tweaks, you'll need to do so from a shortcut you create.

1. Open File Explorer to This PC.
2. Right-click Winndows (C and select Create Shortcut:
   
   
3. Clock OK in the altert dialog:
   
   
4. And you'll have a shortcut on your Desktop:
