Windows 10: How to match preinstalled dvd rescue to the computer 6 DVD 4 computers

I have 4 dell desktops all have XP home. Home but I have 6 dvd with p/n. On them but I loaded one in and says wrong disk the 2nd try I locked up the computer How do I tell what dvd goes with what computer. All the computers have the windows key on them. I emailed and talked to dell they won’t help told me bought it threw Amazon. Take the matter to them. That stinks Please help There is 1 red label 2 blue labels and one looks almost purple.

Help...asus bw-12b1st will not read blu-ray dvd

I bought an ASUS BW-12B1ST Blu-ray writer...installed and it didnt read ANY dvd...deleted from devices and restarted...it then played dvd's but NOT Blu-ray dvd...it lists as BD player under Computer...I run ANY DVD HD and it recognizes it as a blu-ray writer, but no play...OS is VISTA. Suggestions??

Step 1: Try updating the DVD\CD-ROM drives from device manager.

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
• Expand DVD\CD-ROM drives .

  Right click on the driver and select
  Update Driver Software.

  Restart the computer.
  

Step 2: I suggest you to check and install if there is any latest firmware update for DVD drive from the computer manufacturer.

• The DVD Player's optical reader (the lens which 'reads' the data from DVDs)
