    how to migrate back to windows 10 Home from Windows 10 Pro


    I was having HP world installed Windows 10 Home which was installed by them during purchase on HP Laptop 150b series. later being a registered on Windows insider, I get prompt to upgrade to windows 10 Pro and mistakenly upgraded to Pro, now PC is not getting activated using product key, giving that needs to connect your organisation and later can not connect to organisation with error 0x80070002. Am I have migrate to window 10 home back, if yes then how? I have wathced some suggestion that show to clean install and change registry before clean install like this:-

    56. Browse to key HKEY_Local Machine > Software > Microsoft > Windows NT > CurrentVersion

    57. Change EditionID to Core double click EditionID, change value, click OK. In your case it should at the moment show Pro
    58. Change ProductName to Windows 10 Core. In your case it should at the moment show Windows 10 Professional


    but I didn't found both options which are given in above 57 and 58 steps after following step 56.

    Which is good news actually, because Windows 8.1 is loads cheaper than previous versions (retail licensing at Windows 7 OEM prices). And it sort of puts a huge hole in the Windows subscription theory.
