Windows 10: How to modify the default details options in File Explorer?

Hi,I would like to know if it's possible to modify the default detail options e.g. size, type, date modified in files explorers in Windows 11 Home?

File Explorer Details Display Columns

Hi : is not totally clear, what "File explorer" option you

want to set up. Most users have the "Details View"

Steps how to Do that, are shown here and

press Windows [Key + E] To open File Explorer. click the [View] Tab at

the top of the window. In the Layout section. Select Extra large icons

Large icons, Medium Icons, Small icons, List,

Details, Tiles or content

To change to the view you want to see. We recommend use

the "Details option" For users, not sure what to choose..

Changing to this option. May show modified date on files

I suggest you to refer the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + E keys, opens the File explorer.
• Click on the View tab in File ribbon.
• Click on the Details Pane. Check if the details are appearing in File explorer after selecting any files.

How to not separate pictures and videos in File Explorer?

Hi.

If Date Modified doesn't show on the options when you choose Sort by, we suggest that you perform this steps:

• In File Explorer, select the folder you want to have changes with.
• Right-click and select Sort by.
• Select More, then check if the Date modified option has a check mark.
• Click OK, then try to perform again the steps provided by Acelyn Alc.
