Windows 10: How to monitor C drive bitlocker encryption progress with black screen?

Hello,3.5h ago I started encrypting my 200/256GB filled C:/ partition on M.2 SSD in compatible mode with full disk encription not "only stored data" one.My monitor is black since the required reboot and computer is powered on.Is everything ok being black? I'd expect some progress bar or some text...How long should it take? Should it be 2-4h?256GB "normal/non-m.2" ssd took 0.5-1hI have Windows 10 without TPMI tried to connect my monitor with both DP in GPU and HDMI in motherboard - in both cases there is no signal

I suggest you to perform below mentioned steps to disable BitLocker.

To disable BitLocker I would suggest you try the following steps and see if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Change View by from Category
  to Large Icons/Small Icons.
  
• 
  Click on BitLocker Drive Encryption and click on
  Turn BitLocker Off.
  
• 
  Follow on screen instructions. Click on Decrypt the Drive
  when the message appears.

Data Recovery in Bitlocker Encrypted Drive

Today my home laptop system asked for bit locker password after booting up (before login). Bit locker encryption was not enabled by me. However, to make the computer usable, C drive was formatted since there was no critical data in C Drive. However D Drive is still encrypted.



Kindly confirm

1. Can Bitlocker Encryption be enabled without intervention of the user?
   
2. Where to find the bitlocker encryption key?
   
3. How to recover the Data in Encrypted D Drive?
   

 

Saving and copying files on a drive with Bitlocker encrypting still in progress

Hello,

We want to encrypt drive D: for all workstation. Is there any way to read and write on a drive during encrypting in progress?

Any advise in deployment of bitlocker that the user will not feel any conflict when processing files on a drive during encrypting in progress?
