    how to move an upgraded win 10 to 11 license to a new hardware


    I'm changing everything but the ssd of my PC.I know that if i change the hardware i will have to "uninstall" the license and reinput it again in the new hardware. I have the Win 10 license but the command line wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey return nothing. yes the license is retail.Will the Win 10 license work on the new PC when I am asked to input the serial key again? Do I need another license? What am I supposed to do?

    it was an upgrade from 7 (with no license) to win 10.

    But the Win 10 'upgrade' installation page didnt work. So i tried to buy a new Win 10.

    But it seems you can only buy Win 11, so i bought Win 11 Home with a product license.

    HOwveer win 11 doesnt work on my computer. So im hoping the Win 11 product license will work on windows 10 pro?

    troubleshooter doesnt have solutions

    The interesting question is that: the upgrade takes place before 29 of July. If I upgrade the PC (change the MB), and I transfer the Win 8.1 license to this new PC (cause 8.1 is retail FPP), will I be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free? Or a upgrade license must be bought?

    i am running win 7 and want to upgrade to win 10 and buy a new license key. But there wasnt a link for a win 10 .iso file, so i bought win 11 with a license key. But turns out my computer cant run Win 11. Can i use the key i just bought on a win 10 .iso if there is a place to download it??
