Windows 10: How to move bookmarks between Windows account including saved passwords in the browser?

Is it possible to move bookmarks between Windows account including saved passwords in the browser?


Here is the scenario:

1. I created a standard user Windows account for a user.
2. User said I want to move bookmarks from Chrome into new Windows account including saved password.
3. I tried below per How to Backup & Restore Chrome Bookmarks Favorites - wintips.org - Windows Tips & How-tos
4. I copied

"C:\Users\xyz\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\UserData"

To:

"C:\Users\abc\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data"


This step only transferred bookmarks not saved passwords.


So, is it possible to move bookmarks between Windows account including saved passwords in the browser? if yes, how to accomplish this?

How can I import Bookmarks and Save Passwords from Google Chrome to Edge Browser?

Is there any way to import Passwords and bookmarks from Chrome to edge. I found some tricks to import bookmarks but how can I do the same with Passwords?

really likes the Edge browser and badly need to import everything to make it as my default browser

Update [9-June-2017]: After waiting for almost 2 years, finally we can now import bookmarks and saved passwords to Edge browser from almost any browser. I can't stop my excitement and

Firefox bookmarks

in Firefox, go to Bookmarks, Organise bookmarks, there in File there's the option to export your bookmarks *Smile And after reinstall, all you need to to is go there and import them again. I can recommend google browser sync though, syncs bookmarks, cookies and passwords (all encrypted), so whenever on a new machine, on your laptop etc. you have everything like you are used to, if there's google browser sync installed, too.

 

Edge: Bookmark import -- no outside browsers recognized

Based on your information you need to select right option to import favorites form a different browser. Try the below steps to import favorites from firebox.

Step 1.

• 
  Open Firefox and press Ctrl + Shift + B together, now click on
  Import and backup.
  
• 
  Select Exports Bookmarks to HTML and
  save the favorite to a folder.
  

Step 2.

• 
  Open internet explorer and press Alt + Z.
  
• 
  Select Import and export now click on Import from a file.
  
• 
  Click on Next and select Favorites.
  
• 
  Now browse for the file where you have save Firefox favorites and click on the bookmark and click open and click
  Next, now import the bookmark.
  
• 
  Once you are done importing favorites in internet explorer, you can import it on Microsoft edge.
