Windows 10: How to move "EFI System Partition"?

Hi guys, I need to move my m.2 drivedisk 1 in pic above to a different pc but when I did so, it didn't boot. When I installed windows 10 onto disk 1, I'm pretty sure disk 0 was plugged in as well. I suspect that the reason disk 1 won't boot on a different pcwithout disk 0 is because of this "EFI System Partition" on disk 0. How can I move this partition or whatever it is to disk 1 so I can move disk 1 to a different computer as a boot drive?

Move EFI partition

its to enable win 10 to update to its anniversary edition.. it cant do this due to lack of C drive space i have had a quick try with the trial version of easus.. it didnt seem to be able to do what i want..

i am assuming i cant just delete the efi partition but maybe i could.. as yet i havnt even figured out how to get into the bios of the thing.. maybe that should be my next step.. *Smile

diskpart could probably do it but figuring out how (it aint that user friendly) might be difficult without step by step instructions..

My EFI System and Recovery Partitions are on the wrong disk (Windows 10)

Please boot into WinRE and do the following:

1. Delete the EFI partition on disk 0
   
2. Re-run the bcdboot command suggested earlier. Be sure to use the correct drive letter. You can determine the OS partition's drive-letter by running diskpart & list volume commands.
   

Edit:

"Volume Z" gave you two more options. If you don't mind having the EFI on disk 0, then all you need to do is delete the unwanted boot entries using msconfig.

OTOH, if you want to have the EFI partition on Disk 2, then delete the EFI partition on Disk 0 and run the bcdboot command.

 

Restoring efi (SYSTEM) partition

Currently if I restore only one partition at a time with Acronis the efi (SYSTEM) partition is missing some data, side note restoring whole drive works however.

But my question is:

If I used bcdedit /export c:\bcd.bak first and latter on a blank formatted 260MB formatted fat32 partition did the following:

bcdboot C:\windows /s G: /f UEFI // where G is the assigned drive letter for the efi partition

Then after that step run bcdedit /import c:\bcd.bak

Does that actually restore that partition to the correct STATE? Meaning any information that was there prior is now back.

Or would it still be missing some critical data that was there before?

I have a support ticket at Acronis on this.
