Windows 10: How to move the taskbar on the left side of the screen in Windows 11

For many years, I used to have the task bar on the left side of the screen, for productivity reasons - the screen is wider than taller, so I prefer to use a part of the larger space for the task bar than a part of the smaller space.But this option has been removed in Windows 11, even if a lot of people used it.Is there any way to move the taskbar to the left side in Windows 11?I feel forced to go back to Windows 10.

Hi, at work we use three screens, with XP installed, on the PC i was using before it had the taskbar on just the left screen and when i maximised a window it would fill whatever screen the window was currently on. The pc i now use, has a task bar stretched across the three screens and when i maximise something it will automatically fill the left screen. Is there a way to change either of these things as i prefer the taskbar on the left screen and to maximise on the screen the window is in. Thanks

The options will be in the video card options, like if you use a ATI video card the options will be in CCC. You should give people more details about your comp.

 

How do you remove the taskbar from bottom of the screen.

  Uncheck the box lock the taskbar and check if it helps.

  And move it to the top or right or left of the screen.
