Windows 10: how to move the taskbar to the left side of the screen?

Does this still not work? Is this setting still not available which was present since Windows 95? I can not upgrade from 10 to 11 on my private PC and I switched from 10 to Linux at work because of this. It is mandatory to place the taskbar on the left side. Especially since I use ultra wide screens. Bottom and top position is only usefull on 4:3 screens or in portrait mode. I use this on Windows since Windows 7 to gain more height for applications.

Hi, at work we use three screens, with XP installed, on the PC i was using before it had the taskbar on just the left screen and when i maximised a window it would fill whatever screen the window was currently on. The pc i now use, has a task bar stretched across the three screens and when i maximise something it will automatically fill the left screen. Is there a way to change either of these things as i prefer the taskbar on the left screen and to maximise on the screen the window is in. Thanks

The options will be in the video card options, like if you use a ATI video card the options will be in CCC. You should give people more details about your comp.

 

How do you remove the taskbar from bottom of the screen.
