Hi, thanks for replying, in that case, we need to add the registry to have it open with, in .bat file, kindly follow the first step from this link:

Once done, restart the PC

Right-click the .bat > click Show more options > click Open with

May I know if you're using an S mode version of Windows? To check, please press Windows key + R and type winver then hit enter.

Please check and follow the steps below:

1. Please right click on the .bat file that you're trying to open,choose Properties, under General Tab, please check if you will see an Allow option, please tick on it and hit Apply. Please check if the issue persists.

I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to help, there is no "Open with" option in .bat files, but what we can do is change the default app to open the .bat file by following the steps below:

Go to Settings > Apps > Default apps > Scroll down and click "Choose default apps by file type"

Look for .bat > Click Choose a default or click the option beside the .bat and change it
