Windows 10: How to Open .dmp and mini dump files to find route cause to BSoD’s

So I put out a post a while ago around the same issue sort of and I’m not sure if you will be able to see it so I’ll briefly go over what happened. Basically I have been getting very frequent BSoD’s and haven’t been able to find a permanent fix, so I made a post and the person helping asked for the file so they could check, long story short, I couldn’t access, zip, or move the file… we tried lots of different methods to fix it and nothing worked.So now I’m back again, as it’s pretty much daily that I get BSoD’s and I need to know if this is damaging my computer and if I need to change any co

Help reading mini dmp file

Download BlueScreenView, unpack the ZIP, and run the EXE (no installation necessary). It's an excellent little utility for looking at DMP files and finding the cause of crashes.

• Have you made any significant changes to your computer prior to this happening?

Reinstalled Windows and drivers.

• When and how did the issue start?

After completed re-install.

• Can you send us screenshots detailing the mini dump files and event log?

Windows is fully up to date.

• What troubleshooting steps have you tried to resolve your concern?

Uninstall all sound and video drivers and let Windows install drivers.

 

BSOD - aswbidsdriver.sys

All of the dmp files you listed showed the same driver to be at fault.

Please check the mini dump folder and upload the new dmp file that was created after the recent BSOD
