Windows 10: how to open .java file

I found a brickgame simulation here in this website

i downloaded the zip file and extract it
Brick-Game-9999-in-1-master\src\main\java\com\github\vitalibo\brickgame\Run.java
I found "run.java" file but i cannot run it. there is another .java files in other folders too

I didnt understand the explanation on the site becuase there is no jar file in zip package

Installation
mvn clean package

launch game

java -jar brick-game-0.3.0-SNAPSHOT.jar

do i have to convert this files to .jar file? or is there a way to open?

Java .jar file is not downloaded as a java file.

opening .dds files with gimp

Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?
