    How to open port 4448 in the network service or firewall software?


    Hello everyone,Please help me to find port 4448 in the firewall.I have windows 10 system and to an application called 'Bulk Data Application' by USGS I need to open port 4448 from the network service or firewall software. But I am unable to find this port setting please guide me on this.Regards,Arjun

    • Have you connected your computer to domain network?

    I suggest you to disable the Firewall wait for 1 hour and check whether the ports are opened automatically or not, please do let us know with the result.

    Windows Firewall blocking program even with inbound/outbound rule enabled.

    Windows firewall is like a fart when you have squirty dumplings, you shouldn't really trust it.


    Disable the private network firewall, if the application works fine do this.

    Open a CMD prompt window with admin rights. type in "netstat" without the quotes and press enter. You should get a list of what IP and port is connecting to what port and or service. Open those ports for the application, or just allow those ports to be unfiltered.
