Having trouble with speech recognition dictionary

I'm new to the forum and need help with the Windows 10 speech dictionary. I have followed the steps for
making changes to the speech recognition dictionary and managed to get "be cause" changed to "because" but it won't change "Atty." to "Attorney" and no matter how many times I correct "Atty. general office" to "Attorney General's Office" it will not keep the correction.

Also, when I pause, speech recognition always adds the same words, "rules, add, off" are it's favorites. No idea why, but those words will just appear multiple times.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I'm using Windows 10

Sorry, but I don't understand your response. As stated in my initial post have followed the steps for making changes to the speech recognition dictionary and then I explained the lack of success following those steps. Unfortunately the steps you copied and posted from the program itself are all the information on making changes to the dictionary that I have been able to find. I was hoping someone here had more information.
I thought I had succeeded in changing "be cause" to because" but after posting here I went back to dictating and the program went back to "be cause" Now I do not want to prevent the words "be" "cause" from being used, but would like the word "because" when that's what I say. Same problem with whatever/what ever.
The program automatically abbreviates versus (vs) attorney (atty) and I'm sure other words I haven't used yet, and I need to change that.in the dictionary.
