How to Optimise DCIM Galaxy S10 for photographs?

I have lived with this for so long, now I am going to ask, as it really annoys me.

How do I optimise the DCIM folder for Photographs.

For some reason, Windows 10 insists on defaulting to Music/Album, showing columns for Track Number, Artist, Album, Year etc

I believe this should be resolved by going to the Properties of the folder Windows Explorer>Right click Folder {navigation}, or, Windows Explorer>select folder>Home>Properties, but the Properties only show the General tab.

I am currently on my work laptop.

Could this be some daft corporate policy, or perhaps a permissions problem between Samsung Galaxy S10, or is Windows 10 just badly programmed?

Related - When my photographs are listed, why does it always default to earliest first? Surely, most people are interested in the latest. Is there a way to set the default to latest first?

NB In my opinion, this should be the default set by Microsoft for Photographs ...isn't this 'obvious'? Yes, I know, people have different needs, but I am asking from the point of view of general concensus.

    Many thanks

    :)
