Windows 10: How to optimize INTEL Graphics for gaming and better performance?

I bought a XPS 13 laptop for school and I didn't know how the intel graphic command works and how to update it for better PC display. My friend recommended me to check YouTube for tutorial, but I have not been lucky enough to find a better videos to fix it for the better.

Which program would be better for optimizing games?

I recently got a Dell G7 15 gaming laptop (model 7588, i9 core) and since it came with 3 different applications that offer game optimization, I wanted to ensure which one would provide the best performance. I currently own 4 games: Overwatch, Paladins,
Minecraft and Destiny 2, and the applications are Intel Graphics Command Center, GeForce Experience, and the Intel UHD Graphic Control Center.

 

Which program would be better for optimizing games?

The Geforce Experience is what your laptop will use to adjust your games graphics settings for optimal performance. This is the software

used by your Nvidia graphics processor, which is what you want to run games on.

You could also uninstall the Experience and just use the in game settings, and the Nvidia Control Panel to further tweak your

graphics options, if desired. There may also be a few (mostly older) games that have no settings profile in the Experience.

As far as graphics settings go, there is no ideal automatic software solution. The GeForce Experience has pre-defined game profiles that

can select game graphics settings that offer 'optimal' performance for your hardware configuration, which depending on the game in

question could mean using graphics settings a bit lower than what you may prefer. In many cases you can still push some settings

a bit higher if you don't mind running the game at a slightly lower frame rate.You may also find you prefer lower a setting for one effect, such as shadows, in favour of raising another effect you like using more.

With laptops, due to their limited cooling capabilities, the settings selected by the GeForce Experience are probably the best option

in most cases though.

- I'm not familiar with the Intel Command Centre. It may be a laptop thing, but the UHD Graphic Control Centre is what you

use to adjust settings for your Intel UHD graphics when that is in use.

I've never used Intel UHD graphics, but there are no game profiling options in the Intel HD graphics Control Panel.

according to laptop support page they do list an old downloadable driver for intel for windows 7 , weather this is related to there being several variants of that laptop or this laptop has switchable graphics i may just suggest you reset the bios and see if things change , if yes you may be able to apply step 2 , if not then apply step 4 and call it today , you are still better off being on the high performance gpu .

Out of curiosity can you take a snap shot from Settings > System > Display. Scroll down and click the “Graphics Settings” ?
