Windows 10: How to overcome the code 43 error on Display driver

I recently formatted my laptop which is a HP ProBook 445 G7 AMD Ryzen 5 4500U with Radeon Graphics and it is running on Windows 11 Pro 23H2.Since then the display adaptor AMD radeonTM graphics has stopped working and shows error as "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. Code 43" in device management. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver but it stays same. When I completely erase the driver as well so it switch back to Microsoft basic display and then reupdate via windows update it redownloads the correct driver and work for some time until I restart

Code 43 Driver error

Code 43 means that the drivers for the device notified the operating system that the device failed in some manner.

I would suggest that you run the Hardware and Device troubleshooter and check if you can detect any error

Run hardware and Device troubleshooter

• On the search bar type “Troubleshooting” .
• Click on troubleshooting, then click on “Hardware and sound”.
• Under Hardware and sound, click on “hardware and devices”.
• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.

I would also suggest that you update your Graphic Driver.

Method 2:

• Right click on the Start button, and select “Device Manager”.
• Open Device Manager, double click and expand Display Adapter.
• Right-click driver, and click Update.
