Windows 10: How to pair Kirkland KS10 hearing aids to Windows

Sorry i'm new to this whole thing... I just got my ks10 hearing aids from Costco and was having trouble pairing them with my Windows 10 laptop. I finally got it to work after temporarily closing the Remote Control App on the my phone to free up 1 of the total 2 Bluetooth connections off the KS10 the other Bluetooth connection with the phone for making/receiving calls can be left on. I also turned off/on the KS10 to make sure that old pairing with the Remote Control App was released. My laptop immediately recognizes the hearing aid and pairs with it. Basically one Bluetooth channel can be

Pairing hearing aids - device not detected

So, as a try, I was interested whether I could get sound on my hearing aids whilst watching a TV broadcast thru Microsoft Edge. Of course I can switch on the speakers but this is not desirable at times.

Along with my hearing aids I have a small device named ConnectClip. This device 'connects' other sound sources to my hearing aids. For instance, when listing to the radio on my smartphone.

Anyway, ConnectClip should be paired. I followed the video tutorial on this, that says nothing more than to enable Bluetooth, switched on the ConnectClip and select the device from the list at 'Add new device'.

As expected, it isn't that simple: the device is not detected.

I tried all kinds of settings but run out of ideas.


FWIW : at Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections I do notice an entry
"Bluetooth Network Connection 2" reading 'Not connected'
I am not sure whether that has something to do with it though.

The Device Manager > Bluetooth does not show some kind of 'Bluetooth adapter'.

Windows 10 x64 19042.985
I can't verify the currently installed Bluetooth version.

Anyone any suggestions..??

Hearing aids pairing

Can windows 10 be paired with hearing aids like the are with an Iphone

 

Hearing Aids

I have a Surface Pro 3 running Windows 10 and Miracle Ear hearing aids. The hearing aids are paired and show connected but they don't show under Audio they show under Other Devices. When I go to settings, sound and manage sound the hearing aids don't show
as an output device. Only my built in speakers show. Is there a way to disable the speakers and use my Bluetooth hearing aids. Thanks!
