  1. How to permanently save Restores of System

I did a restore of my OS drive yesterday but today I noticed after making a second one that the first one is already gone? Is it normal? If I remember correctly in windows 7 I could have a restore of the OS sit there for years without an issue.

What is the safe protocol to follow if I want to permanently keep a restore of my OS drive?

I want to do changes to windows and install a new program so I want to make sure I can revert back if I make mistake. Thanks for the help.
